NSTALLATION
Upon receipt of the equipment, visually inspect the contents
for signs of damage. If the equipment has been damaged in
transit, immediately report the extent of damage to the
transportation company and to ADC Technologies. (See
"Appendix B - Product Support" on page

ETTING
Be sure to wear an antistatic wrist strap. Avoid touching
static-sensitive components on the circuit board.
HRU-402 has two user options that must be set before you install it into a
shelf or an enclosure. These options are set by the two-position switches at
S1, located near the card-edge connections at the back of the HRU circuit
board.

The uppermost switch, the Sealing Current (SCURR) option, allows you
to enable or disable the flow of sealing current over the HDSL pairs. (See

The lowermost switch, the Local or Line Power (LPWR) option,
