To Select the Programming Language

You can select one of three languages to program the multimeter
from the selected remote interface. The language is
the multimeter is shipped from the factory. See also "Programming
Language Selection," on page 94.

1 Turn on the front-panel menu.

3 Move down a level and then across to the
4 Move down to the "parameter" level to select the language.
Choose from one of the following: SCPI, Agilent 3478A, or Fluke 8840A.
Auto/Man
5 Save the change and turn off the menu.

The language selection is stored in non-volatile memory, and does not
change when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
