Troubleshooting

Problem
Parts will not circulate on table
Parts are circulating too fast and hit-
ting the walls of the table
Table will not AutoTune or resonant
frequency falls outside normal range
Parts move slow on one half of table Carpet is not fully engaged with hook
Parts feed from hopper even though
the hopper is off
Part movement slows as more parts
are fed onto table
Table will not run
332462A
Possible Cause
Amplitude setting of table is too low
Frequency setting is not optimal for
table.
Bolts have loosened up, resulting in
poor vibration transfer
Amplitude setting is set too high
Tables are touching each other
Carpet is touching each other
between tables
An outside object is in contact with
the table
and loop
Bolts holding spring packs together
are not properly torqued.
Bolts holding tray to spring pack
assembly are not properly torqued
Natural frequency of tables is not
properly set
Residual vibration from the table is
making the hopper vibrate and feed
parts
Table is not set to Autotrack
No Power to unit
Control connection to table is not
properly set up
Blown fuse
Troubleshooting
Solution
Increase amplitude setting of table
Autoscan table to find resonant fre-
quency or manually search for proper
frequency.
Ensure all bolts are tight on table and
spring packs.
Reduce amplitude setting of table
Ensure minimum gap of 0.020" is set
between tables.
Ensure a minimum gap is set
between carpet.
Ensure nothing is touching the unit
while Auto-tuning the table
Take a flat edge and press on carpet
to ensure good engagement is had
between the hook and loop
Torque all bolts holding spring packs
together to proper value
Torque all bolts holding spring packs
together to proper value.
Auto tune the table to locate natural
frequency. If problem persists, manu-
ally adjust the frequency of the table
in increments of 0.1Hz until parts
move uniformly. You will not have to
go further than 1.0Hz either direction
from the Auto Tune value.
Adjust the Hopper gate to the optimal
height to help restrict parts feeding.
Attach the Part Feed Optimizer and
adjust it to the proper height to pre-
vent parts from unintentional feeding.
Go into menu and set the table to
Autotrack instead of manual mode.
Ensure power is properly connected
and turned on
Check M12 connection and setup.
Confirm table turns on in Manual
mode.
Check for bad fuses.
