In addition to entering characters, the following keys are used to perform special functions.
[On/Off] ....................................... Power-on/off control
[Mode] .......................................... To top menu
[Submode] ([Shift], [Mode]) .... To submenu
[Esc] .............................................. Stop processing underway
[Erase] .......................................... Delete displayed records
[BS] ............................................... Delete the character to the left of the cursor position
[Del] ([Shift], [BS]) ..................... Delete the character at the cursor position
[Enter] .......................................... Confirm entry
[C-Return] ([Shift], [Enter]) ...... Enter new-line code
[Space] .......................................... Enter a space
[Char] ........................................... Switch between alphanumeric input and Roman-character-to-kana
conversion input
[Caps] ........................................... Turn Caps on or off
[Shift] ........................................... Turn Shift on or off
[↓], [↑], [←], [→] ......................... Move the cursor, select a menu, etc.
