S5U1C88348T Main Board
Incorporates memory and an LCD driver.
Power supply terminal (BT1)
Connects to batteries (three AA cells) or to an external 5 V power supply.
When connecting the batteries, take care to avoid reversing the appropriate pole matchups.
LED
Indicates the operating status of the MPU.

RESET switch
Resets the S5U1C88348T.
S5U1C88348T MPU Board
Incorporates the S1C8P348 and external devices for the oscillation circuit.

Contains a 128 dot × 32 dot matrix LCD panel.
S5U1C88348T Key Board
Used to control database demonstrations.

1 0 Low-power mode
0 0 Normal mode
0 1 High-speed mode
Indicates the status of the OSC3 oscillation circuit; lit when the oscillation
circuit is ON, not lit when the oscillation circuit is OFF.
Indicates the [status of the] CPU operating clock; lit when operating with the
OSC3 clock, not lit when operating with the OSC1 clock.
Indicates the operating status of the CPU; lit when the CPU is in the RUN
state, not lit when the CPU is in the HALT state.
