5.1.11 Door seal (boot / gasket)
Remove top panel (5.1.1), fascia (control) panel (5.1.2), bottom front
panel (5.1.7) and door (5.1.8).
Disconnect door seal (boot / gasket) from front panel by removing
spring clamp and carefully separating seal lip from panel.
Disconnect door seal (boot / gasket) from tub by removing spring
clamp and carefully separating seal lip from tub. If necessary for
clearance, remove front counterweight(s).

5.1.12 Rear shock (damper)
5.1.12.1 Stowing rear shock
There isn't adequate clearance to easily disconnect the rear shock
from the tub. However to save time for tub removal, it can readily be
disconnected from the base and stowed onto the rear of the tub.
When the tub is removed for any reason, remove the bolt holding the
rear shock to the base and tie the shock to the rear of the tub.
