Repeat Function

Every time the REPEAT button is pressed, the repeat mode
changes as follows;
1.ONE REPEAT
Press the ONE/ALL button twice. "ONE" appears in the REPEAT
indicator.
If the ONE/ALL button is pressed twice during playback, the
track being played will be played back repeatedly.
If the ONE/ALL button is pressed twice in the stop mode, the
first track will be played back repeatedly.
To cancel the ONE REPEAT function, press ONE/ALL button
once again. The REPEAT indicator goes out.
2. ALL REPEAT
... This function is operational during playback and in the stop
mode.
... This function works together with INTRO CHECK and
SHUFFLE function.
Press the ONE/ALL button once. "ALL" appears in the REPEAT
indicator.
When the end of the disc is reached, the player will return to the
first track, and then playback continues repeatedly.
To cancel the ALL REPEAT function, press ONE/ALL button
twice. The REPEAT indicator goes out.
3. A-B REPEAT
This function allows repeat playback of any desired portion of
the disc.
Every time the A-B button is pressed, the repeat mode changes
as follows;
Designate the point at which playback should start by pressing
the A-B button. "A-" appears in the REPEAT indicator. When the
point at which repeat playback should end is reached, press the
A-B button again. "A-" indicator turns into "A-B".
The designated point with A-B button will be played back
repeatedly.
To clear A-B REPEAT function, press A-B button again. The
REPEAT indicator goes out.
... Repeat function can be used in the programmed playback
mode and shuffle playback mode.
... In the shuffle mode, ONE REPEAT and A-B REPEAT don't
work.

Shuffle Playback ( RANDOM )
1. Press the SHUFFLE (RANDOM) button in the stop mode.
The RANDOM indicator lights up in the display.
2. Tracks will be randomly selected and played back.
Notes:
... Press the MUSIC SKIP button ( ¯ ) with shuffle function
engaged to select a next track at random. Press the MUSIC
SKIP button ( Â ) button to replay currently played track
from its beginning.
... A track cannot be replayed after it has been played in this
mode.
... To release the shuffle function, press the STOP button ( ª ) ,
and then press the SHUFFLE button again.
Auto Cue
1. Press the AUTO CUE button in the stop mode.
The AUTO CUE indicator will light, and AUTO CUE function is
activated.
2. To cue to the first track on the disc, press the PLAY
button ( Á ) .
The player will automatically search the beginning of the first
track, and enters the pause mode.
3. Press the PLAY button ( Á ) again to begin playback.
4. To select a track other than the first track, enter the
desired track number using the 10-Key buttons on the
unit or the remote control.
The player will automatically search to the beginning of the
track selected, and enter the pause mode.
5. Press the PLAY button ( Á ) to begin playback of the
selected track.
6. When the MUSIC SKIP button ( Â/¯ ) is pressed while
the AUTO CUE function is activated, the player will skip
to the beginning of the new desired track and enter the
pause mode.
7. Press the PLAY button ( Á ) to begin playback of the new
desired track.

Pitch Control

Press the PITCH CONTROL button in the STOP mode.
... Changing pitch rapidly during playback may cause noise
problems.
... The PITCH CONTROL button is operational only in the stop
mode.
1. Press the PITCH CONTROL button.
The PITCH CONTROL indicator lights in orange.
2. Turn the PITCH CONTROL knob right or left to change
pitch.
3. Turning right makes playback speed faster within the
range 0 ~ + 6%.
4. Turning left makes playback speed slower within the
range 0 ~ - 6%.
