Bolt (1/4 x 5/8 inch)

Procedure
Note: If there are no mounting holes in the fuel-tank
support bracket, drill the 2 holes (5.6 mm or 7/32 inch
diameter) as shown in
Figure
1. 76 mm (3 inch)

1. Attach the guard mount to the fuel-tank support
bracket using 2 bolts (1/4 x 3/8 inch) as shown in
Figure
2.

2. Attach the joint guard to the drive-assembly guard
using a bolt (1/4 x 5/8 inch), spacer, washer (9/32
inch), and nut (1/4 inch) as shown in
