WARNING
Operating a Frontrunner tractor without an
approved Exmark front mount attachment
increases the possibility of forward tip over and
could cause serious injury or death.
When operating a Frontrunner tractor without
an approved Exmark front mount attachment,
observe the following:
• Limit operation to minimum required to
install a different front mount attachment.
• Minimize speed and use extreme caution.
• Only operate on a flat level surface.
• Do Not operate up or down a trailer ramp.
• Avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration.
Uncrating the Unit
1. Remove top and sides of crate from base.
2. Remove straps securing front frame and deck to
crate.
Installing the PTO Drive Shaft
1. Cut the zip ties securing the drive shaft to the crate.
2. Remove the tape from the gearbox shaft and the key.

Read before operating the machine.

3. Install the toothed washer onto the gearbox shaft
followed by the guard.
4. Insert the square key on the gearbox shaft and then
slide the drive shaft into the gearbox shaft until it
contacts the guard (Figure 1).
1. 3/8 inch nyloc nut
2. Apply nut type Pro-Lock (1-840022) to the setscrew and
tighten to 18 ft-lb (24 N-m)

4. Washer
5. Guard
6. Tighten the 3/8-16 x 1 3/4 inch capscrew to 44 ft-lb (60 N-m)
