The mechanical or hydraulic jacks may not be enough support or may malfunction allowing the unit to fall, which could cause injury. Do Not rely solely on mechanical or hydraulic jacks for support.

    Installing the Blower Assembly Units Serial Number 352,000–509,999 without Splined Blade Driver: 1. Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop. 2. Lower the deck fully. Remove the right hand belt cover. Remove the belt cover mounting stud that protrudes from the deck.
  • Page 10 Check blade bolt torque after completing this installation. For units with a 5/8-18 x 2 3/4 inch blade bolt, torque to 115-120 ft-lb (156-163 N-m). 8. Re-install the deck drive belt in the lower groove of the double sheave. Install the plug (item 40) into the bore of the double sheave.
