4.2 SERVICE MODE

4.2.1 HOW TO ACCESS THE SERVICE FUNCTIONS

To access the service functions (functions 80 through 91), press [1], [2], [3]
simultaneously.

4.2.2 COUNTER DISPLAY (FUNCTION 80)

1. Press the Function key, [8], [0], then the
Yes key.
The LCD displays the total scan and print
counters for 2 seconds. Then, the
machine returns to standby automatically.

4.2.3 BIT SWITCH PROGRAMMING (FUNCTION 81)

1. Press the Function key, [8], [1], then the
Yes key.
2. Select a bit switch number (0 to 9, or A to
E) using the ten-key pad or Quick Dial
keys A through E, then press the Yes
key.
3. Adjust the bit switch.
Example: To change the value of bit 7,
press [7].
4. Press the Yes key to save any changes.
5. Press the Stop key to return to standby.
