You must close all other
Windows programs before
installing Adaptec Easy CD
Creator.
Internet Explorer 4.01 or
higher must be installed on
your system before you can
install Easy CD Creator. If
Internet Explorer is not found
on your system, you are
prompted to install Internet
Explorer 5 before continuing
with Easy CD Creator
installation.
Easy CD Creator is the easiest way to put your world on CD.
With just a couple of mouse clicks you can create audio CDs that
can be played on your home or car CD players. You an also
create data CDs to store data such as folders and files that are on
your hard drive.
Caution: Easy CD Creator is designed to assist you with reproducing
material for which you own the copyright or have obtained
permission to copy from the copyright owner.
Installation of the Adaptec Easy CD Creator software is required
only if the software was not pre-installed or after you have
restored your computer to the original factory condition.
Follow the instructions that follow to install the software.
Caution: Before installing Adaptec Easy CD Creator, you must
uninstall any other CD recording software. This includes deleting all
shared files if prompted to do so.
1. Insert the Adaptec Easy CD Creator disc into the CD-RW,
DVD-ROM, or CD-ROM drive and complete the following
steps to install the Adaptec Easy CD Creator software.
Note: You must follow these instructions to install both Easy CD Creator
and Direct CD.
If Autorun is enabled on your system, the Adaptec
Installation window is displayed automatically and you can
skip steps 2 and 3.
2. From the Start menu, select Run.
3. Type e:\setup (substitute "e" for the appropriate drive letter of
your CD-RW, CD-ROM, or DVD-ROM drive).
