The Internet History file
keeps track of the Web sites
you visit. If you forget a URL,
you can check the History
list.
With the Windows
Maintenance Wizard, you
can schedule preventative
maintenance utilities to run
automatically to:
Make your programs
run faster
Check the hard drive
for problems
Free up hard drive
space
Deleting the Internet History File frees up disk space on your
computer hard drive.
1. Double-click the Microsoft
Internet Explorer icon on the
Windows desktop.
2. On the Tools menu in
Internet Explorer, click
Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Click Clear History.
5. Click OK to clear the
Internet History file.
Note: The History area allows you to designate the number of days that the
History list keeps track of your pages.
