Warning Messages and the Power-On Self-Test (POST)

When you turn on your computer, the
preparing the computer to load the operating system. This procedure is known as the POST.

Beep Codes

If a terminal error occurs during the POST, the system issues a beep code before attempting to display the error. Beep
codes are useful for identifying the error when the system is unable to display the error messages.
The following table is a list of beep codes issued for terminal errors.
