Depending on the computer you have purchased, a sound card may be already installed. The sound card has several
connectors that allow you to connect the card to other devices. This figure shows where the connectors are located on
the sound card.

Jumpers are required between pins 3 and
4 and between pins 5 and 6 of the
Multimedia Control Panel Connector.
Without these jumpers, the sound card
will not output sound through the rear
panel. (These jumper connections are set
by default).
