Solving PC Card Problems
Some common causes and solutions for PC Card problems are listed in the
following table.
Probable Cause
Optional memory
expansion card is
installed incorrectly,
is incompatible with the
computer, or is
defective.
System ran out of memory
for the application.
Memory is not configured
correctly.
Too many TSR (terminate
and stay resident)
applications are
running.
Probable Cause
The ISA slot does not
support graphics
controller cards.
The ROM version in the
computer may be below
revision 4.02 (6/13/96)
Solution(s)
Ensure that the optional
memory expansion card is
installed correctly.
Check the application
documentation for
memory requirements.
Install additional
memory.
Reconfigure the memory
using MS-DOS MemMaker.
