SIM connector board

NOTE:
This section applies only to computer models equipped with a WWAN module.
Description
SIM connector board
Before removing the SIM connector board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC Adapter from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Hard drive (see

Optical drive (see

Keyboard (see
d.
Switch cover (see

Display assembly (see

Top cover (see
g.
Rear cover (see
Remove the SIM connector board:
1.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (1) that secure the SIM connector board to the base
enclosure.
2.
Lift the left side of the SIM connector board (2) to disconnect it from the system board.
