3.1.13. Syslog Transmission Configration

Select "Basic Config" and "System Security" and then "Syslog Transmission Confi-
gration" to open the screen shown in Figure 3-13. On this screen, you can config-
ure the settings of the Syslog server to which a system log is sent.
Screen Description
Global Syslog Displays the settings for sending system logs to the Syslog server.
Transmission "Disable" is the factory default setting.

Index This is the entry number for the Syslog transmission configuration.
Status Displays the status of each entry.
"Disable" is the factory default setting.
Enable

Syslog Server IP Displays the IP address of the Syslog server.
Facility Displays the Facility value.
Included data Displays information to be added.
SysName

Sends system logs to the Syslog server.

Setting of the entry is enabled.
Setting of the entry is disabled.
Adds the SysName of this switch to the system log to be trans-
mitted.
