In the Shutter  Interval mode, the interval for an
automatic compensation can be set. For this, the time
after which an automatic compensation is to be
performed must be entered in seconds. The limitations for
the interval to be specified are between 5sec and approx.
16min (995sec). Once the entered value exceeds or falls
below these limits it is adapted automatically. The
recommended factory setting is 60s. Immediately after
start-up of the thermal imager the shutter interval is
adapted automatically by the internal camera control
depending on the change of the device temperature over
the course of the first 5 minutes. During this time, the time
specified for the "Interval" option is ineffective.
When switching the compensation to the "Object" option,
the function is referenced to the current scene. As a
consequence, this results in a differential representation
referring to the scene present at the moment of
compensation. This way, it is possible to visualize very
small changes in temperature even with comparatively
high scene dynamics.
