Installing a PCI Express network card to
increase network connection
To install a PCI Express network card to increase network
connection:
1 Perform steps 1 to 8 of the previous section.
2 Connect the network cable to the network card, then connect the
other end of the network cable to a switch.
3 Connect the network cable to the network port on the rear of the
storage system, then connect the other end of the network cable
to the switch.
4 Power on the system.
5 Configure the network settings. Refer to "Changing the network
settings" on page 167.
