Responding to RAID failure

When HDD removal/failure causes the entire RAID to fail, the Disk
Change Notification page displays when you access the IPStor Express
Manager or refresh the browser window.
To respond to RAID failure:

On the Disk Change Notification page, take the appropriate
action:
Click Scan to scan the storage system again and update the
information on the page.
Click Shut Down to re-install the same disk or install a new
disk
After the storage system shuts down, re-install the same disk
and then restart the system.
Note: If you removed multiple HDDs, be sure to re-install them in
the opposite order than you removed them.
