How to Adjust the Charge
Pressure Relief Valve
Note: Refer to Drive Manifold Component list to
locate the charge pressure relief valve.
1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 50 bar pressure
gauge to test port #2 on the drive manifold.
2 Start the engine from the platform controls.
3 Drive the machine slowly in the direction
indicated by the blue arrow on the platform
controls and observe the pressure reading on
the pressure gauge. Refer to Specifications,
Hydraulic Components Specifications.
Component damage hazard.
Driving the machine in reverse
will place excessive pressure on
the pressure gauge and will
damage the gauge. Do not drive
the machine in a reverse
direction.
4 Turn the engine off. Use a wrench to hold the
charge pressure relief valve and remove the
cap (item EE).
5 Adjust the internal hex socket. Turn it
clockwise to increase the pressure or
counterclockwise to decrease the pressure.
Install the relief valve cap.
6 Repeat steps 2 through 3 to confirm the relief
valve pressure.
