14. Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
15. Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating
appliance.
16. If the machine malfunctions for any reason, discard any food
being processed at that time.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
18. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

IMPORTANT UK EARTHING INSTRUCTIONS
Electrical Connection
This appliance includes a BS 13 amp moulded (fused) mains plug
on the supply cord. Should it be necessary at any stage to remove
this moulded plug and replace it with a re-wireable BS 13 amp mains
plug, the re-wiring should be completed as follows:
(N.B. The moulded plug should be disposed of safely.)
Class I (1)
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
GREEN & YELLOW = EARTH
BLUE = NEUTRAL
BROWN = LIVE
As the colours of the wire may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
– The wire that is coloured green and yellow must be connected
to the terminal in the plug that is marked with the letter E or
coloured green or yellow, or green and yellow.
– The wire that is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal
that is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
