Cause
Due to the failure of the primary charging PCB, bias was not applied to the primary charging roller.

Ghosting at a 94mm pitch

Symptom
Ghosting at a 94mm pitch (drum cycle) occurs.
Cause
After a certain period of using the drum unit under an environment of high duty/high print volume, the
residual toner accumulated on the upstream auxiliary brush increases, the potential cannot be even on the
photosensitive drum when outputting blank or solid black images and then ghosting occurs.
Service work
The measure differs according to the version of the system software for the machine.
a. DCON Ver. earlier than 31.04
Lower the setting of the appropriate color by "1" in Service Mode (level 2) > COPIER > Adjust > HV-PRI >
USUB-YDC/MDC/CDC. This service mode adjusts the Y/M/C upstream auxiliary brush DC bias. The set
