RECORDING BASIC STEPS
Lens cap
A: To remove the lens cap, press on both sides, as
illustrated.
B: To prevent losing the lens cap, attach it to the
camcorder using the cord.
Adiusting the grip belt
Adjust the grip belt as illustrated, so that it is tight around
the hand when the REC START/STOP button and the
power zoom button are reached with the tip of the fingers.
Eyesight compensation ring
Turn the camcorder on, then while looking into the
viewfinder turn the ring (A), to the right or to the left, to
obtain the clearest possible picture.
Installing the shoulder belt
Install the shoulder belt as illustrated.
Installing the tripod
Align the tripod mounting screw with the tripod mounting
hole in the bottom of the unit. Then, securely tighten the
mounting screw.
Holding the camcorder
A: Keep your feet slightly apart, and the upper arms close
to the body. Hold the camcorder horizontally. When
possible rest your elbows on a table, or your back on a
wall, etc. for more stability.
B: Raise the viewfinder, for a comfortable low angle
recording position.
C: Use a tripod for jitter-free pictures.
