setting, remote start, activate the
remote start function on the device.
Conditions

Customer service can access your

software update
With this function you can update the
software of the device, e.g. for
optimizations, correction of errors or
for security-relevant updates.
The Home Connect app informs you
about available software updates.
Protection of personal data
Please observe the information
regarding the protection of personal
data.
When your appliance is connected to a
home network connected to the
Internet for the first time, it transmits
the following categories of data to the
Home Connect server (first
registration):
†Unambiguous identification of the device
ready (consisting of device keys
and the MAC address of the built-
in
Wi-Fi communication module). †
Wi-Fi . Security Certificate
communication module (for
information security of the
connection).
†The current software and hardware
version of your home appliance. †
Status of any previous
reset to factory settings.
During the first registration, the use of
the Home Connect functions is
prepared. This registration only needs
to be done when you want to use the
Home Connect functionalities for the
first time.
NotePlease note that the Home
Connect functionalities can only be
used in combination with the Home
