Load the HW configuration and the program
into the S7-1200 by means of the function
"Extended download to device".
With a right-click on the station, you will reach
the menu "Download to device > Hardware
and software". The window for the "Extended
download" pops up.
Set the type of the PG/PC interface to "PN/IE".
Set the PG/PC interface to the network
interface of the previous item in the table.
If you use the switch, the "Connection to
subnet" must be set to "Directly to slot '1X1".
Tick "Show all compatible devices" in the
option box.
In the last line, click on the entry "S7-1200"
and then on the "load" button.
In the following window "Load preview",
confirm the data with the "Load" button, and in
the Window "Loading results" with the option
box "Start all" and the "Finish" button.

If the IP address had been set correctly before
and the S7-1200 was not reset to factory
settings, you have to transfer the HW
configuration and program into the S7-1200 by
means of the Symbol "Loading into device".
8.
Set the operating mode of the S7-1200 to
"RUN" by means of the symbol "Start CPU", if
the CPU is in the "Stop" status.
