If you want to install the UPS by yourself, installation must be under the supervision of authorized Delta engineers or service personnel. This ensures that the parallel UPSs can equally share the equipment loads in bypass mode. 2. Only UPSs with the same capacity, voltage and frequency can be paralleled; otherwise, parallel functions will fail. - Page 42 To extend battery backup time, you can connect several external battery cabinets to the UPS. When connecting a non-Delta external battery cabinet to the UPS, it is compulsory to in- stall an appropriate non-fuse DC breaker and fast-acting fuses (when short-circuit occurs, the melting current must be 5~6 times of the battery fuse’s rating current).
