Problem
BATTERY PACK IS NOT
CHARGING PROPERLY
TOOL WILL NOT DRILL

Possible Cause
No power to charger
Temperature is outside the
operating range of the charger
Other issue
Low battery charge
No Coolant to the bit
Tool Failure
Improperly adjusted / loose rail
clamp
Possible Solution
Check operation of receptacle by plugging in
a lamp or other appliance.
Check to see if receptacle is connected to a
light switch which turns power off when you
turn out the lights.
Move the charger and battery pack to
a location where the surrounding air
temperature is approximately 60°F - 75°F (18°
- 27° C).
Take the tool, battery and charger to an
authorized D
WALT service center.

Stop the drill and retract the bit. Remove and
charge the battery.
Ensure the coolant canister is full and
pressurized. Fill if necessary.
Take the tool, battery and charger to an
authorized D
WALT service center.

Ensure the rail clamp is tight around the rail
and that the rail clamp adjustment knob is
tight.
