3. HPF (High Pass Filter). Like the High Pass Filterin FatChannel, this setting
willcutfrequencies inthe reverb'soutput belowthethresholdyousethere.
Power User Tip: This is especially helpful for bass-rich sound sources (baritone voice,
acoustic guitar) as adding too much reverbin low frequencies canmuddy your
sound.
4. Pre-Delay.Pre-Delayisthetime(inmilliseconds)betweentheendofthe
initialsound and the momentwhen thefirstreflections becomeaudible.
PowerUserTip:Imagineyou'reonastageinalargemusichall.Youstandonthe
very edge of the stage and shout "Helloworld!"towardthe centerof the hall.There
willbe a brief pause beforeyouhear the first noticeable reflectionsof your voice,
becausethesoundwavescantravelmuchfurtherbeforeencounteringasurfaceand
bouncingback.Adjustingthepre-delayparameteronareverballowsyoutochange
the apparent size of the room without having to change the overallSize.This will
giveyourmixalittlemoretransparencybyleavingsomespacebetweentheoriginal
sound and its reverb.
5. Reverb (Amount). To change the amount of Reverb affecting Channels 1 and 2,
use the Reverb controlat the top of either Channel to dial in the amount to taste.
