RS-232 connector — Connect a cable with a 3.5 mm, 3-pole
captive screw connector to this port for bidirectional RS-232
communication. Wire the connectors as shown in the following
figure.

This port has the following RS-232 protocol:
• 9600 baud
• 1 stop bit
• No parity
• 8 data bits

Set (SIS) commands to communicate with the switcher via
RS-232.

W hen the input rate is recognized as 270 Mbps,
1.485 Gpbs, or 2.97 Gbps, the output is re-clocked to the
recognized rate.
Outputs 1 and 2 simultaneously output identical signals.
