Activ8X® Pipe™
Setup Menu:
From the Settings Menu, and when "Enter Setup Menu" is displayed (and
blinking) pressing the bottom encoder push button will enter the setup menu.
A press of the right push button exits the setup menu and returns to the top of
the settings menu.
A short press of the bottom encoder push button will select the menu item
that is blinking. After the press, the value to be set will blink.
Rotating the bottom encoder knob will change the selected value.
Pressing the bottom encoder push button again will store the value that has
been set.
The "Setup Menu" items are:
• True Energy Logs
• True Energy Display Setting (default = disabled)
• Metric/Imperial WFS display settings (default = imperial)
• Arc Current or Actual WFS display during welding (default = Arc Current)
• Trigger selection of memories (default = disabled)
• WFS Limits (default = disabled)
• Volts Limits (default = disabled)
• Arc control Limits (default = disabled)
• Trim Display Setting in Trim versus Volts Display Setting (default = trim)
• Process Selection Lockout (default = unlocked)
• Number of Memories (default = 4).
• Memory Save Enable (default = enabled).
Setting High Limits:
A short press of the bottom encoder push button will select the
menu item that is blinking ("High Limits"). After the press, the
values to be set will blink on the upper seven-segment displays.
Rotating the upper left and right encoder knobs will set the high
limits for the units indicated by the LEDs to the left and right of
the upper displays. These settings will be those associated with
teh active procedure.
To disable any of the limits, turn the associated encoder
clockwise until the display shows "OFF".
The values will be set as they are adjusted.
The limits settings are stored independently for each memory
location.
Setting Low Limits:
A short press of the bottom encoder push button will select the
menu item that is blinking ("High Limits"). After the press, the
values to be set will blink on the upper seven-segment displays.
Rotating the upper left and right encoder knobs will set the high
limits for the units indicated by the LEDs to the left and right of
the upper displays. These settings will be those associated with
teh active procedure.
