Fitting the wiper blades
Slide the new wiper blade into the retainer

on the wiper arm in the opposite direction
to the arrow.
Turn the wiper blade parallel to the wiper
X
arm.
Carefully fold the wiper arm back onto the
X
windscreen.
Problems with windscreen wipers
The windscreen wipers are obstructed
Leaves or snow, for example, may be
obstructing the windscreen wiper movement.
The wiper motor has been deactivated.
For safety reasons, you should remove the
X
key from the ignition lock.
Remove the cause of the obstruction.

Switch the windscreen wipers back on.
X
The windscreen wipers are inoperative
The windscreen wiper drive is malfunctioning.
Select another wiper speed on the combi-
X
nation switch.
Have the windscreen wipers checked at a
X
qualified specialist workshop.
The spray nozzles are misaligned
The windscreen washer fluid from the spray
nozzles no longer hits the centre of the wind-
screen. The spray nozzles are misaligned.
Have the spray nozzles adjusted at a quali-
X
fied specialist workshop.
