9. Lift the bypass damper off the slide plate and remove it from the insert (see below).
10. Remove the slide plate from the insert (see below).
11. The illustration below shows what the front edge of the baffle should look like. Notice the baffle
board is made of two separate pieces and there is a ceramic fiber blanket laying on both pieces
of board. Grab both pieces of the baffle board and slide them together so that they overlap 2" to
4", this will make the baffle small enough to remove from the unit
