1 SWITCHER connector (D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A)
Used to connect to the DVS-7200A Digital Video
Switcher. The switcher is controlled through this
connector.
2 DME (Digital Multi Effects) connector
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A)
Used to connect a device such as the DME-7000
Digital Multi Effects. The unit is controlled through
this connector.
3 TERMINAL 1 and 2 connectors
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-232C)
These connectors can be attached to control terminals,
pen tablets, etc. according to the need for maintenance,
pen tablet control, or future system expansion.
4 ⁄AC IN (AC power input) A and B connectors
(3-pin)
Connect to a 100 to 240 V AC power source with an
optional power cord. As shipped, the A connector
supplies power to the built-in power supply unit. If the
optional BKDS-7091 unit is installed, both the A and
B connectors can be used.
For information on the BKDS-7091, contact your Sony
representative or qualified Sony service personnel.
5 OPTION PANEL connector
(D-sub 25-pin, RS-422A)
Use the optional BKDS-7075 Control Panel Remote
Adaptor to install option panels externally instead of
attaching them to the control panel.
6 REMOTE 1 to 4 connectors
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A)
Used as necessary to connect external equipment, for
example, to control three or more channels of DME-
7000 Digital Multi Effects units. The BKDS-7001
Expansion Board is necessary to use these four
connectors.
7 y (signal ground) terminal
Connect to the system ground as required.
