8 Load the Paper Cassette

Loading the paper cassette requires two procedures:

Loading the Media

Follow the procedure below to load the paper cassette provided with the
printer. This procedure also applies to the optional paper cassettes.
Note
The paper cassette holds approximately 250 sheets of standard weight (64 to 105 g/
m
on the type of paper. (

Install the tray (removed at P.1-8) onto the cassette cover.
Note
For the optional paper cassettes (Cassette 2, Cassette 3) there is no tray, so removal
or installation is not required.
The tray cannot be attached to the cassette covers of the optional paper cassettes.
Loading the paper or other print media in the cassette.
Selecting the media size and type with the operation panel.
