Shooting – The Basics

Continuous Shooting

Mode Dial
Use this mode to shoot successive shots
while the shutter button is pressed.
Continuous shooting speed is as follows*.
PowerShot A520: Approx. 1.9 shots per second
PowerShot A510: Approx. 2.3 shots per second
* Large/Fine mode with LCD monitor off (These figures
reflect Canon's testing standard. The figures will vary
depending on the subject and shooting conditions.)

Shooting will stop when the shutter button is
released.
The interval between shots may lengthen
somewhat when the internal memory
becomes full.
The flash can be used, but the interval
between shots will lengthen to
accommodate the flash recharge time.
