No image will appear on the LCD monitor
when the camera is connected to a TV
monitor.
The video output signal can be switched
(NTSC or PAL) to accommodate different
regional standards (p. 73). The default
setting varies between regions.
- NTSC: Japan, U.S.A., Canada, Taiwan,
etc.
- PAL:
Europe, Asia (excluding Taiwan),
Oceania, etc.
If the video system is set incorrectly, the
camera output may not display properly.
If the TV is a stereo model, you can plug the
audio plug into either the left or right Audio

Resetting the File Number

The images you shoot are automatically
assigned file numbers. You can select how
the file number is assigned.
The file number is reset to the start (100-0001)
each time a new memory card is inserted. New

The file number of the last image to be shot is
