Cleaning the Ice Tray

Stop ice making
Light OFF
The light may flash when the mode is changed to
"stop ice making". The light will turn off automatically
after approximately 20 seconds (it is not abnormal).
Wash the ice tray with water

Make sure to stop ice making to
avoid failure and water leakage.
To stop the water supply to
the ice tray, press the
"Large ice cube making"
button to turn off the light.

Remove the ice, if any, from
the ice tray by twisting the tray.
Lightly rinse the ice
tray with running water.
Do not use anything that can scratch
the ice tray, such as scrub brush or
cleanser.
(Ice removing may become difficult
if these items are used.)
Make sure that the ice making has stopped before removing the ice tray (to avoid failure).
Do not leave the ice tray unattached after replacement or cleaning (to avoid water spilling over the ice case).
Do not open the ice compartment door while the buzzer is sounding. (The operation will stop.)
When setting the ice tray, do not fill it with water (to avoid failure and ice sheet).
Do not put your hand inside the ice tray compartment when the ice tray is not set.
Do not splash water inside the ice compartment.

Remove the ice tray
Open the ice compartment door
and pull down the frame lever.
Then, pull out the frame fully
towards you.

Pull out the frame straight to avoid
water in the ice tray from spilling.
Push up the cover on the front side
of the frame (

Remove the ice tray from the frame.

Set the ice tray
Pull out the frame fully towards you, set
ice tray on the frame and close the cover.
Do not put water in the ice tray when
setting the tray.
Push in the frame securely until it touches
the end and pull up the frame lever.
Press the "stop ice making" button to com-
mence automatic ice making operation.
Press the "Large ice cube making"
button to turn on the light. (Automatic ice
making operation starts.)
