Care of the Water Supply Container
To prevent the generation of "slime" and "water stain", ensure all parts of the water supply
container are washed once a week.
Remove the packing from the lid and wash it with water using a soft sponge.
When no ice is made for an extended period, be sure to dry every part of the water supply container and restore it to
the prescribed location in the fresh food compartment. we recommend that you change the automatic ice setting to
"Stop ice making". (
When you don't change the automatic ice setting to "Stop ice making", you may sometimes hear the operating
sound of the feed pump. This does not represent any problem.
Wipe off the water if water spills when removing or setting the water supply container.

Change the water filter when it gets old.
(Approximately every 3 to 4 years.)
Ordering a new water filter
Part no: RJK-30. Insure you have the correct part no. and
order though the retailer from which you purchased you
refrigerator. (Removing the water filter does not affect the
ice-making function)

Hook your fingers around the step at the nozzle-end of
the lid and remove it. (Do not open using finger nails.)
Check that the tab is hooked onto the water supply
container and close the lid in the arrow direction.

Turn the case in the
direction of the arrow and
remove from the cover tab.
Hold the bottom of the
case and remove the filter
by pulling the filter tab.
Wash with water using a soft
sponge.
Do not use mild kitchen
detergents or bleach.
The filter is easily broken so avoid
prodding it with stick-like objects.
