To Obtain Warranty Service:
You m ust take your Honda Pow er Equipm ent engine or the product
on w hich it is installed, along w ith your sales registration card or
other proof of original purchase date, at your expense, to any Honda
Pow er Equipm ent dealer w ho is authorized by Honda to sell and
service that Honda product during his norm al business hours.
Claim s for repair or adjustm ent found to be caused solely by defects
in m aterial or w orkm anship w ill not be denied because the engine
w as not properly m aintained and used.
If you are unable to obtain w arranty service, or are dissatisfied w ith
the w arranty service you received, contact the ow ner of the
dealership involved. Norm ally this should resolve your problem .
How ever, if you require further assistance, w rite or call the Honda
Pow er Equipm ent Custom er Relations Departm ent in your region.
Exclusions:
Failures other than those resulting from defects in m aterial or
w orkm anship are not covered by this w arranty. This w arranty does not
extend to em ission control system s or parts w hich are affected or
dam aged by ow ner abuse, neglect, im proper m aintenance, m isuse,
m isfueling, im proper storage, accident and/or collision, the
incorporation of, or any use of, any add-on or m odified parts,
unsuitable attachm ents, or the unauthorized alteration of any part.
This w arranty does not cover replacem ent of expendable m aitenance
item s m ade in connection w ith required m aintenance services after
the item 's first scheduled replacem ent as listed in the m aintenance
section of the product ow ner's m anual, such as: spark plugs and filters.
