To Qualify for this Warranty:
The product m ust be purchased in the United States, Puerto Rico, or
the U.S. Virgin Islands from Am erican Honda or a dealer authorized by
Am erican Honda to sell those products. This w arranty applies to the
first retail purchaser and each subsequent ow ner during the applicable
w arranty tim e period.
What American Honda will Repair or Replace Under Warranty:
Am erican Honda w ill repair or replace, at its option, any part that is
proven to be defective in m aterial or w orkm anship under norm al
use during the applicable w arranty tim e period. Warranty repairs
and replacem ents w ill be m ade w ithout charge for parts or labor.
Anything replaced under w arranty becom es the property of
Am erican Honda M otor Com pany, Inc. All parts replaced under
w arranty w ill be considered as part of the original product and any
w arranty on those parts w ill expire coincident w ith the original
product w arranty.
To Obtain Warranty Service:
You m ust take the Honda generator and proof of original retail
purchase date, at your expense, to any Honda Pow er Equipm ent
dealer in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
w ho is authorized to service that product, during the dealer's norm al
business hours. If you are unable to obtain w arranty service, or are
dissatisfied w ith the w arranty service you receive, take the follow ing
steps: First, contact the ow ner of the dealership involved; norm ally
this should resolve the problem . How ever, if you should require
further assistance, w rite or call the Pow er Equipm ent Custom er
Relations Departm ent of Am erican Honda M otor Co., Inc. Refer to
page 62 for contact inform ation.
