TRANSPORTING

Do not lay the generator on its side w hen m oving, storing, or
operating it. Oil m ay leak and dam age the engine or your property.
If the generator has been used, allow it cool for at least 15 m inutes
before loading the generator on the transport vehicle. A hot engine
and exhaust system can burn you and can ignite som e m aterial.
To prevent fuel spillage w hen transporting, the generator should be
secured upright in its norm al operating position, w ith the engine
sw itch OFF and the fuel tank cap vent lev er turned fully
counterclockw ise to the ''OFF''position.
Take care not to drop or strike the generator w hen transporting. Do not
place heavy objects on the generator.
