This w arranty does not extend to parts affected or dam aged by
accident and/or collision, norm al w ear, fuel contam ination, use in an
application for w hich the product w as not designed, or any other
m isuse, neglect, incorporation or use of unsuitable attachm ents or
parts, unauthorized alteration, or any causes other than defects in
m aterial or w orkm anship of the product.

Am erican Honda disclaim s any responsibility for loss of tim e or use of
the product, transportation, com m ercial loss, or any other incidental or
consequential dam age. Any im plied w arranties are lim ited to the
duration of this w ritten lim ited w arranty. Som e states do not allow
lim itations on how long an im plied w arranty lasts and/or do not allow
the exclusion or lim itation of incidental or consequential dam ages, so
the above exclusions and lim itations m ay not apply to you. This

Environm ent Canada and State of California em ission regulations.
Am erican Honda M otor Co., Inc. provides the em ission w arranty
coverage for engines in the United States, and its territories. Honda
Can ad a In c. p r o v i d es t h e em i ssi o n w ar r an t y f o r en g i n es i n t h e
13 provinces and territories of Canada. In the rem ainder of this
Em ission Control System Warranty, Am erican Honda M otor Com pany
Inc. and Honda Canada Inc. w ill be referred to as Honda.
Your Warranty Rights And Obligations:
California
The California Air Resources Board and Honda are pleased to explain
the em ission control system w arranty on your Honda Pow er
Equipm ent engine. In California, new spark-ignited sm all off-road
equipm ent engines m ust be designed, built and equipped to m eet the
State's stringent anti-sm og standards.
