POST Codes

This section provides the AMI POST Codes for the
EVGA Z590 DARK Motherboard during system
boot up. The POST Codes are displayed on the
Debug LED readout located directly on the
motherboard. See Page 14 and 15, component 21
of the Component Legend for physical location.
This Debug LED will switch to display the user's 80Port Configuration settings
after POST (see Page 156). Please note that if you see the Debug LED
constantly switching numbers after entering Windows, the Debug LED is
showing temperature or voltage information, and is NOT reporting errors.
AMI POST Codes
1 Power on. Reset type detection (soft/hard).
2 AP initialization before microcode loading
3 North Bridge initialization before microcode loading
4 South Bridge initialization before microcode loading
5 OEM initialization before microcode loading
6 Microcode loading
7 AP initialization after microcode loading
8 North Bridge initialization after microcode loading
9 South Bridge initialization after microcode loading
0A OEM initialization after microcode loading
0B Cache initialization
0C-0D Reserved for future AMI SEC error codes
0E Microcode not found
