M.2 Lane Distribution*
M.2 Key-M (110mm, Top, PM1) – Gen4 x4
o This slot supports PCIe M.2 SSDs / Intel
M.2 Key-M (110mm, Middle, PM2) – x4 from Z590 PCH
o This slot supports PCIe M.2 SSDs / Intel
o This M.2 Key-M slot shares lanes with PU. Installing an M.2 device will
disable the U.2 port.
M.2 Key-M (110mm, Bottom, PM3) – x4 from Z590 PCH
o This slot supports PCIe M.2 SSDs / Intel
o This M.2 Key-M slot shares lanes with PE3. Installing an M.2 device will
disable the PCIe x4 slot (PE3).
