ROTOR
Bearing replacement
Dismantle the rotor.
Collector side – bearing
replacement
First remove the sensor. It has a
screw thread.
Remove the bearing
Remove the bearing holder
together with the bearing.
Knock out the bearing holder.
Dismantle the rotor
Knock lightly to remove the
rotor from the gear box cover.
Cover side – bearing
replacement
Remove the circlip and spring
washer under this.
Knock or press out the gear box
cover.
Fit new bearings
Fit a new bearing in the gear
box cover.
Fit a new bearing in the rotor
shaft's bearing holder.
Fit the bearing on the rotor
shaft.

Bearing replacement
Dismantle the rotor as per the previous
description.
Collector side – bearing
replacement
First remove the magnetic speed sensor
in the middle of the shaft. It has a screw
thread. Grip the rotor and remove the
sensor.
Remove the bearing
Remove the bearing holder together with
the bearing using a universal puller.
Knock the bearing out of the bearing
holder using a suitable socket. The fixture
for the machine has a suitable hole
dimension.
Dismantle the rotor
Place the gear box body against a level
surface, e.g. a vice.
Knock lightly to remove the rotor
from the gear box cover. Hard knocks
could damage the gear box cover.
Dismantling results in forces on the
bearing that cause damage. Therefore,
always replace with a new bearing.
Cover side – bearing replacement
Remove the circlip and spring washer
under this.
Knock or press the bearing out of the
gear box cover using a suitable socket.
Fit new bearings
Fit a new bearing in the gear box cover
with support to the outer ring.
Fit a new bearing in the rotor shaft's bea-
ring holder with support to the outer ring.
Fit the bearing to the rotor shaft with
support to the inner ring.
Fitting the rotor in motor cover
Fit using the tool 525 30 02-01.
1. Place the gear box cover on the rotor.
2. Knock the bearing down until it reaches the bottom
against the rotor stop.
3. Put the wearing ring on the shaft. Note how this is to be
turned.
4. Knock the wearing ring down until it reaches the bottom
against the bearing's inner ring.
Fit the sensor at the collector.
