Console Port
The Console port is a Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) port used to
configure router and system parameters. It can also be used for monitoring purposes. The
Console port is enabled by default and is configured as DTE. The default baud rate is
115 200. This port has a DB9 male connector. Connect the Console port to a terminal using
an EIA/TIA-232 serial cable.
