WireScope 350 user interface overview
Chapter 3
The WireScope 350 is designed for ease of use. The bright color touch screen
allows for a clear and logical layout of functions at each stage in the cable
certification cycle.
Basic screen layout
Several common screen elements are used throughout the WireScope 350 user
interface.
The title bar identifies each screen.
The status display area shows the current time set on the WireScope 350, talkset
status, battery status, and storage status.

The talkset icon appears when the talkset is plugged in.
The power status icon shows the current battery state. The percentage figure
shows the amount of charge remaining in the battery.

= Plugged into AC adapter. Battery charging.
= Fully charged battery

= Battery is half empty
= Battery is empty
·
The storage icon indicates where test results will be saved and how full the
memory is.
= Results saved to compact flash card.

= Results saved to internal memory.
