Printing Cable Identifiers

The WireScope 350 can print the saved cable identifiers directly to the Brady
TLS2200 label printer. The WireScope 350 setup is described below and once
the printing option is turned on, each time the operator saves a test result, a label
is printed. This feature automates the labeling process and eliminates repetitive
data entry for the operator, which saves times and minimizes mistakes.
Configuring the WireScope 350 to print to the Brady printer is a simple process.

From the Main Menu select System

From the System Settings menu select the Autoprint option and then press
Edit

This will bring you to Printer Setup.
The Autoprint feature, when enabled, permits on-site automatic label printing
after each test record is saved.
Press Autoprint to enable this feature, this is enabled when a red check mark is
present.
Connect the Brady interface cable, (part number N2605A-050), from the serial
port on the WireScope 350 to the serial port on the Brady TLS2200 printer.
Turn on the Brady TLS2200 printer. Press <Func>+<Exit> Keys
simultaneously to set the printer to Peripheral Mode.
